The Avionic Services Clearance to Land Indicator (CTLI) permits reliable,
instantaneous, non-voice communication between an Aerodrome
Controller and an Approach Radar Controller carrying out an
SRA. The system incorporates a Missed Approach Alarm.
The system takes the form of a panel of coloured illuminated
push-button switches at each control position. The colour of
each push-button switch is user-definable and the size of
the control panel may be specified to fit the available
space.
